I now understand the method of acting Kristen Stewart used in the Twilight movies. She was playing Joan Jett playing Bella Swan. Now it all makes sense!

What annoyed me about the promotion of this movie was the fact that they wanted the Twilight audience to come and see it...and advertised it as if it was a Joan Jett Biopic...which it wasn't. It was based on the book by Cherie Curie and it ends with her leaving the Runaways. It should have been Dakota's Movie.
Even now on IMDB, they have Stew listed first for the movie On The Road that she is working on now...but again...if they make the movie like the book...her part should be small.

Like Mrs. P said, it was a book by Cherie Curry about the Runaways, not about Joan Jett. Though I'm impressed you said you thought she was born to play Joan Jett ;)
