Yeah, Kellan! Don't buy, adopt!
Ok, so for the most part I think PETA is a bunch of radical crazies...maybe just a teenie step away from those wacko people on "Whale Wars." BUT...I fully support pet adoption and rescue and think that people who pay hundreds, if not thousands, for a pet when there are so many cats and dogs needing forever homes are just...well, maybe I should keep those comments to myself so as not to offend anyone. And I won't get into my disgust for backyard breeding or puppy mills. There just ain't enough time for that.

The three pets I have had as an adult have all been rescues; Faust, Oscar Wilde, and Emma.
I think it's wonderful that Kellan and Kola have each other! That picture is ADORABLE and totally makes Kellan hotter in my book! Oh, and yes, please...brunette is WAY better!
Aw, what a cute picture. I'm gonna have to give it permanent space on my blog. I love it when celebrities do something worthy with their fame, like he and Peter did with that auction before NM premiere in NYC.
I've no animals currently, but we've never bought one either. My father brought a few dogs home, one of whom had obviously been hit by a car and limping. He recovered in our care and lived a happy life until some asshole poisoned him.
Oh, Jenna...that shit makes me SO mad! Who would poison a dog? What kind of chicken-shit jackoff would hurt animals or children. I dunno. I guess that's where karma comes in.

You all know I love my baby Mingus, but I did buy him. A family sold him to me and I have no idea where they got him, but their house was bare other than the 46 children in diapers running around trying to carry him and various cats by their necks while we wrote out the check. I figure I rescued him.
Well, yes. You did buy him. BUT...you also searched and searched the rescue sites first. You get a few kudos for that.
